A year of shows in 2025
Disneyland Paris may not have any new attractions in 2025, but it does have ideas and, most importantly, unparalleled know-how when it comes to shows. While we’ll have to wait until next year to see the opening of the World of Frozen land at Disney Adventure World, 2025 should see a certain revival and a host of new shows in the parks.
It will certainly be the last year we’ll have to deal with the countless palisades at Walt Disney Studios and Disneyland Park. A year of transition with lots of good news and some not so good news! Check out the full calendar below.
6 January: Big Thunder Mountain closes for 6 months
If you think a good day at the park is synonymous with a ride on BTM, you’ll have to wait until the summer of 2025 to ride Frontierland’s iconic “Mine Train” again.
Big Thunder Mountain will be closed for a complete refurbishment of certain elements of the ride that have not aged well, such as the goat and mules along the track.

10 January: New night show Disney Tales of Magic
This is one of the most exciting new shows of the year! Disney Tales of Magic is not just another show dreamed up by DLP’s creative team. It’s a show with two original features:it’s exclusive to the French park, and it will be the first show to light up Main Street U.S.A.
A whole new story will be told thanks to the mapping that will be projected onto both Sleeping Beauty’s castle and the buildings on Main Street. A story whose main theme is Disney magic, as presented by Tim Lutkin, the show’s new creative director:
I thought I should start with something delicate and then build up to a crescendo. So, I set out to find out what the word ‘magic’ means for Disney today. When Mickey made his cartoon debut, the focus was more on comedy, humour and his relationship with Minnie. Then, when Walt started making animated features like Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs and Cinderella, the magic became a reality. Disney became synonymous with magic, and each new feature film was like a chance to reconnect with that magic. And that’s the story I wanted to tell and share with our guests. 19 April: the Disney Music Festival season opens
As music is inseparable from Disney animated films, the Disneyland Paris Entertainment Department has decided to put it at the heart of the new 2025 season: the Disney Music Festival, which will run from 19 April to 7 September 2025.

Music will be present in each of the 5 lands of the Disneyland Park through the following 12 animations:
- Welcome to the Disney Music Festival (Main Street USA)
- Marry Poppins and the Pearly Band (Main Street USA)
- Minnie’s Fanfare (Main Street USA. A)
- Goofy’s Imaginary Orchestra (Central Plaza)
- Miguel’s Fiesta Latina (Frontierland)
- Viaina and Her Musicians (Frontierland)
- Timon’s Matadance (Frontierland)
- Musical Encounter with Rapunzel and Flynn (Fantasyland)
- Donald and Daisy’s Accordion Player (Fantasyland)
- Encounter with Stitch (Discovery Land)
- Disney Music Hits Concert (Videopolis Theatre)
- Grand Orchestra Finale (Central Plaza)

I have to admit that I’m really excited about this new 2025 season. It seems to me that Disneyland Paris is going back to the origins of the Disney parks and the street entertainment that is so lacking in our parks. April is also one of the months with the best weather conditions at Disneyland Paris.
Spring 2025: Opening of World Premier
A building often mocked or adored by fans of Disneyland Paris, Studio 1 will close its doors in April 2024 to undergo a complete renovation over several months. The largest and most emblematic building in the Walt Disney Studios will give way to World Premier, the first building block in the transformation of the smallest Disneyland Park in the world.
World Premier will be the first brick in the building of the future Disney Adventure World Park and the park’s new entrance sequence. The film studio theme has been completely revamped to give visitors a more immersive experience. Here are some of the images unveiled in October and November 2024 to show the progress of the work.

This spring, visitors can discover the new Starry Sky in the former Disney Studio 1 soundstage, the new Mickey’s of Hollywood boutique and the Hollywood Gardens restaurant. Most importantly, visitors will be able to discover the new entrance sequence that leads to World Premiere Plaza, the new hub of the park that connects to the shows and, soon, to Arendelle Castle.
Spring 2025: New covered terrace at Casey’s Corner
If you’ve ever been frustrated at not being able to enjoy a tasty American hot dog at Casey’s Corner on a rainy day, by 2025 that will be a thing of the past!
Casey’s Corner will have a beautiful Victorian-style terrace where the tables with umbrellas used to be (see photo below).

Autumn 2025: The Sports Bar reopens in Disney Village
The Sports Bar, which has been open in Disney Village since 1992, is getting a facelift as part of the renovation plan for the Disneyland Paris shopping area.

The Sports Bar & Lounge at Disney Village is set to expand, taking over the space of the former New York Style Sandwiches and offering more than 460 seats as well as a private area for events. Sponsored by Coca-Cola, this American-style sports bar will offer a wide selection of draught beers and ciders, as well as exclusive cocktails and mocktails. Here is one of the 6 signature cocktails: the Ballon d’Or – amaretto, pineapple juice, peach puree, hibiscus flavoured syrup, 1664 beer (source: Businessmarches.com).
Some of the furniture from the former Sports Bar has been reinstalled in the Arcades! A solid wood dining table has been moved here, allowing you to eat on the go in the warmth of the rain.
