Do you want to meet Cruella’s evil gaze, take a selfie with a Disney villain or get scared in the Tower of Terror? Going to Disneyland Paris for Halloween is a great idea and, in my opinion, one of the best times of the year to enjoy the Disney atmosphere. But who says you can’t put a price on magic? Especially as the Halloween season is particularly short and concentrated into one month.
That’s why I’d like to take a look at some of the prices for ‘tickets + hotels’ at Disneyland Paris. But first, let’s answer an important question.
Is it worth going to Disneyland Paris for Halloween?
I can say it straight away: the answer is YES, but…! In my opinion, here are the reasons why
Mild weather in Marne la Vallée in October
The weather is a major concern for visitors to DLP, especially in the days leading up to their arrival. I can understand why. After experiencing a particularly cold and rainy day in January 2022, I said to myself that I would never go there again.
But October is one of the best months to visit Marne-la-Vallée for two reasons: pleasant temperatures (between 10 and 17 degrees on average) and relatively little rain (5 days on average).
December, on the other hand, is much colder (4 to 8°C) and wetter (8 days of rain + 3 days of snow).

Average attendance in the parks
After the weather, the other thing that can spoil a day at Disneyland Paris is the endless queues. This is especially true for people who are only visiting the parks for one day.
The good news is that October was a fairly average month overall. According to the Queue-Times.com website below, the parks are not very busy, especially at the beginning of October.

This estimate needs to be checked against the reality on the ground. As the Disney parks were deserted during the Olympics, there is a good chance that guests will make up for this in the last few months of the year.
A truly special atmosphere
Although Halloween won’t dethrone Christmas in my top Disney seasons, there is something special about this time of year for me. I have to say that the Halloween decorations in Disneyland have a lot to do with it!
It’s worth remembering that the decorations are only in the main park, and only on Main Street USA and Frontierland. It’s a shame, but that’s how it is…
In short, the Halloween atmosphere in Town Square, with its singing ghosts, pumpkin garlands and autumn flowers, adds a unique touch to Disneyland.

Scary prices for Halloween?
Let’s get down to the “yes, but…” and specifically the price of a stay at Disneyland Paris during the Halloween season. A word of disclaimer: the prices you see below are last-minute prices, as they were taken 15 days before the start of the season. And as you know, the best way to save money on Disney holidays is to book well in advance!*
Halloween tickets: when school holidays are expensive
The first thing you notice when you look at the prices for 2-day 2-park tickets is that they are higher in October than in November and December. Why such a difference? Quite simply because of the All Saints school holidays, which run from 19 October to 4 November for all zones.
The fares below clearly show the significant price increase from 19 October. The moral is: get there before then!

Tickets + hotel package : more expensive than Christmas
In terms of stays, prices for two nights at the New York the Art of Marvel hotel with passes are also more expensive than in November and December. The difference is less pronounced at Christmas. But I’m surprised to see higher rates for the last few days of October than for Christmas Eve.

Finally, it would have been interesting to compare a few months in advance. In fact, the prices for the 2025 season (i.e. a year in advance) are very attractive. In my opinion, booking late kind of defeats the purpose of going on Halloween. Especially as there aren’t many new attractions this year.
